New Member Jurying-In
There are 3 different ways to join the NRAA:
1. Submit to be juried into our Annual Open Juried Show every August
Submission deadline: Saturday, May 16, 2026
2. Come to our in-person New Member Jurying-In days which are held 2 times per year

Jurying In is open to all artists 18 years or older wishing to apply for membership in the New Rochelle Art Association. New Rochelle residency is not required for membership. Prospective candidates should bring three pieces of recently completed work, framed (if 2D), or ready to present (if 3D), to the Community Room at the New Rochelle Public Library. Sculpture and crafts are welcome. Jurors look for craftsmanship, consistency, and presentation. All prospective members will be asked to complete an application and will be notified by email of the jury’s decision.
Pick up: Artists must wait until the jurying in is completed and pick up their artwork the same day as drop off.

Existing Members Dues
Membership allows you to enter 2 pieces into each of the 3 yearly shows at the library. You do not have to pay or be juried into these shows. The Open Juried show allows anyone to enter and be juried in with a $35 fee for 2 images. If you are not a member yet, please see the information on the right of this page. Membership will be checked at exhibition drop-off.
All members must pay dues by September 7th to be allowed to enter in the Annual Juried Show (if you are accepted into the show).
There is a slight discount for members that help out with shows or other administrative duties. This is a self-run club, we need member participation.
