109th Open Juried Show

THE NEW ROCHELLE ART ASSOCIATION has a long tradition of promoting and supporting artists and the visual arts. Since its informal inception in 1912, the association has included among its membership many talented and internationally known painters, illustrators, and sculptors.
The NRAA sponsored its first annual juried show to celebrate the opening of the new city library. Some of the noted participants in that show of 140 entries included: sculptor Robert Aitken, painters G. Glenn Newell, Remington Schuyler, A.G. Heaton and illustrators Norman Rockwell, Joseph C. Leyendecker and Victor Forsythe.
Reception: Sunday, October 19, 3:00 PM–4:30 PM
Receiving: Sunday, September 21, 1:30 PM – 2:2:30 PM
Take Down: Sunday, October 26, 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM

Open to the public daily, corresponding with library hours.
This is for entry into the Open Juried Show. You may submit 2 pieces for the show. If you are accepted you will be notified via email. This is open to non-members as well as members. Acceptance into this show will automatically allow you to become a member of NRAA. Once you are accepted, please also pay for yearly membership.
